What is your favorite music?
- All genre.. Any music that touch me.

What is your favorite food?
- Rare meat, rice cracker (Kabuki-age), rice ball coated with sweetened red beans

- Terminator 2, SAW Series

What do you do when you are off?
- Routine tasks

Why did you choose bass as your musical instrument?
- When I hold a bass I feel like I HAVE music. I think bass is like engine.

How did you join JABBERLOOP?
- I used to play in other bands too when we formed JABBERLOOP, but JABBERLOOP was most interesting and exciting among them.

How does JABBERLOOP usually make songs?
- Each member writes songs and bring them to the perfection with everybody.

What do you feel about the US debut?
- I really want to go to the US soon!

Where do you want to go in the US?
- IN-N-OUT

Any future projects?
- Music is the common language in the world, especially music with no lyrics like our music can easily cross the borders and the cultures. That's why we want to perform overseas.

Do you have any artists you would like to perform with?
-  Katy Perry.. (Sorry, I am just a fan of her... lol)

M-Swift New Release on iTunes Store!!

Today M-Swift new album "Sunshine Of Love" has been released on iTunes Store!!

M-Swift is unspecified music project followed by Shohei Matsushita who is a talented DJ and producer in house and cross-over scene.

[BIOGRAPHY]
Shohei started playing Jazz guitar at 18, and moved to UK to make his own music. Susu Records (UK) released compilation album including his song in 2005 and the song became popular in UK club scene. He has also played in numerous clubs as DJ in both Europe and Japan. In 2006, he signed with IRMA RECORDS in Italy and made huge impact world widely. 

In 2010, collaborating with Nano Universe, one of popular Japanese apparel brand, he made 3rd album titled "Sunshine of Love".  This album has marked No. 1 Dance chart and No.58 Album chart on iTunes in Japan. 

He also produced Christmas song for Charice whose album marked No. 8 Album chart for the first week of the release in the US which was the first-time achievement for Asian artists.

JABBERLOOP @ Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan!!

JABBERLOOP walked the red carpet for Golden Melody Awards (Taiwanese Grammy Awards)  on 6/16 for their new album "OLD SCHOOL" which was nominated for the Best Album of the Year!!

This is the biggest music awards in Taiwan and 600,000,000 people watched the live show on TV!

Unfortunately they couldn't win this time, but this was surely a great opportunity for them to participate this event as one of the nominees!

What is your favorite music?
- I like Rocks and Jazz.

What is your favorite food?
- I love sweet potato, junk foods, and sweet stuff.

Hobby?
- Cycling.

Favorite film?
- Back to the Future 2, Fifth Element, Terminator 2

What do you do when you are off?
- Internet, going for a ride

Why did you choose drums as your musical instrument?
- Since it looks cool. I chose drums totally by its look.

How did you join JABBERLOOP?
- Since I could get on well with them. lol

How does JABBERLOOP usually make songs?
- Each member write songs almost perfectly and bring them to the meeting. Then we try all ideas we have and make them perfect.

What do you feel about US debut?
- I am so glad and hope many people around the world listen to our music.

Which cities in the US do you like to visit?
- Fast food restaurants, Hair salon my friend working, Area51

Any future projects?
- I want to perform in as many countries as we can.

Do you have any artists you would like to perform with?
-  Too many....

Daruma Label New Artist: M-Swift!

We are so excited to announce that we have signed with new artist, M-Swift!

M-Swift is unspecified music project followed by Shohei Matsushita who is a talented DJ and mixer.  He started playing Jazz guitar at 18, and has collaborated with lots of well known musicians. JABBERLOOP - 22nd 金曲奬 (Taiwanese Grammy Award) Poll

There is the article about an online survey regarding audience's estimation about who will win "best Chinese album" in 22nd 金曲奬 this year.

18.8% of people believe Soft Lipa and JABBERLOOP's <月光> (name of album released in Taiwan, means moonlight) will get the "best Chinese album" this year, which ranks the second among all albums nominated. On the other hand, 17.5% of people hope <月光> can win this year, which still ranks the second. 

Also, JABBERLOOP will perform in Taiwan on 6/16!

Full Name: Ryo Kishimoto
DOB: Feb 13, 1983
Born in Kyoto, Japan
Graduated from Osaka University of Art


[Interview with MELTEN]

What is your favorite music?
- I like many different genres of music, but especially Jazz and Ryuichi Sakamoto.

What is your favorite food?
- Fish

Hobby?
- Reading comics. I like "ONE PIECE".

Favorite film?
- I like non-fictional movies and documentaries

What do you do when you are off?
- Going to cities

Why did you choose keyboard as your musical instrument?
- My mom is a piano teacher. I started playing keyboard naturally.

How did you join JABBERLOOP?
- I was a supporting member for JABBERLOOP at first, but became an official member as time has passed. I liked their style and sounds.

How does JABBERLOOP usually make songs?
- Somebody (mostly I) write songs first, then we arrange together.

What do you feel about US debut?
- Honestly, I don't feel we really made a debut in the US but I am very honored.  Japanese people pay attention to the artists when they make their debuts overseas.

Which cities in the US do you like to visit?
- I have many places I would like to visit someday, but especially New York and sacred place for grunge music, Seattle.

Any future projects?
- I want to do more shows and would love to work on various projects. I wanna visit the US too!

Do you have any artists you would like to perform with?
-  I can name lots of artists, but I like to collaborate with people who have unique identities whether they are musicians or not. I would love to collaborate with American artists too!

JABBERLOOP on Taiwanese media!!

Taiwanese media picked up the article about JABBERLOOP, whose latest album "OLD SCHOOL" was nominated as Best Album of the Year by 22nd 金曲奬 (Taiwanese Grammy Award)!!!

They say as follows; 
"123 pieces of works were nominated this year. Record companies including Universal, Sony music Taiwan, and Rock Records did great in the competition this time. 

The album "the Era" got 7 nominations. Regarding the music videos competition, 5 works are nominated. They are very creative, combing music with story, and more focus on being a character in the story.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live by TTV at 7 pm on June 18 at Taipei Arena. " 

Also, JABBERLOOP will perform in Taiwan on 6/16!
